Cutting Clinics
Cutting clinics are held year round! We offer two different clinic formats. The first is with Zoe Woodland alone, and other’s will include an additional trainer. The clinics with Zoe start with lots of dry work and basics, flag work, and work bison/steers. Theyr’e a great weekend for those that have wanted to try our clinics but couldn’t justify the cost, maybe green horses or riders. We can provide finished cutters if you don’t have your own (at no extra cost, just let Zoe know you’ll need to borrow a horse)! $175 per day. When other trainers are attending the clinic, this givers riders another perspective from another professional trainers. They also begin with the basics, dry work, and flag work. The clinic then moves to buckle competition with divisions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced, where we will critique your ride and explain scoring. Afterwards we will practice work remainder of the day. Sunday we will work strictly clinic setting, again starting with basics and flag and working into cattle. Great for all levels, participants are welcome to borrow a horse if needed at no extra cost, just let Zoe know you’ll need to borrow a horse. Ranch Clinics w/ Ashley Copley
Ashley Copley is the Assistant Trainer at ZWPH, bringing championship-winning expertise to the Ranch Horse arena. With multiple ARHA titles under her belt, Ashley specializes in developing both horse and rider with a sharp focus on horsemanship and ranchmanship. Her coaching style blends technical skill with show-ring savvy, helping riders of all ages and experience levels rise to the top and stand out with confidence. Can provide horses for no extra cost! Barrel & Pole Clinics
Beginning in the morning we will start with slow work and barrel/pole drills. We then move into pattern work after the drills are completed. At the end of clinic we will run a buckle race.
